The only thing you give us is the text of the dream (and any context) you choose to type into the tool. Please don't include sensitive personal details you wouldn't want processed by an AI service — you don't need them for a good reading.
When you ask for an interpretation, we send your dream text to a third-party AI provider that runs the model which writes your reading. The reading is returned to you and shown on the page. On the free tool, we do not store your dream or your interpretation in any DreamMoth database — once your reading is delivered, we keep no copy.
Today: essentially nothing tied to you. We do not keep your dreams, readings, accounts, or profiles. The only thing we hold is a short-lived, anonymous rate counter (described below) that contains counts, not content, and expires automatically.
Like every website, our host processes basic technical data to deliver and secure the service — your IP address, browser type, and the request itself. To prevent abuse and runaway costs on our free tool, we keep a brief, IP-based rate counter (a number of recent requests) that auto-deletes within the hour and never contains your dream text.
We don't set advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't embed third-party analytics or ad trackers. (At the time of this update, DreamMoth sets no cookies at all.) If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, we'll update this page first.
We rely on two service providers to run DreamMoth, and we don't sell your data to anyone:
DreamMoth isn't directed to children. Please don't use it if you're under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live).
Because we don't create accounts or store your dreams, there's very little personal data to access, correct, or delete — and you can stop using DreamMoth at any time. We don't sell personal information. If you have a privacy question or request, email us and we'll help.
We use reasonable technical measures (including HTTPS everywhere) to protect the service. No method of transmission or processing is ever 100% secure, so please use your judgment about what you share.
DreamMoth is growing. As we add features — such as optional accounts, a saved dream journal, or paid plans — our data practices will change, and we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date above to match. When a change is significant, we'll make it clear here.
